Curriculum Overview

In Consultation with parents and students we build a personalised curriculum to meet each student's needs.

Our Learning

The Bridge curriculum is based on the British Curriculum, adapted to meet needs of our International learners in a modern world. We adjust our teachings to each student's learning style and pace, providing tailored learning experiences for each individual; building confidences, increasing understanding and enabling success.

Flexibility is key, with a unique learning journey created for each student, designed to support them in achieving of their goals.

Our Core Curriculum consists of English, Maths and Lifeskills. This is supported by a range of Electives that students can choose from to create their individual journey.

For students already pursuing individually paced online courses, we offer tailored support. Providing a 'home away from home' environment, assistance with organisation, time management , focus and application as well as support in academic areas to ensure their online learning experience is successful.

What Are Personal Passion Projects?

These self-directed learning activities empower students to explore their interests in depth. By pursuing topics they are passionate about, students take ownership of their learning, motivating them to delve deeper into their areas of interest.

Project Structure

Our projects follow a simple yet effective framework that emphasises essential life skills:

  1. Plan: Students identify their learning goals and develop key questions to investigate.
  2. Do:They put their plans into action, documenting their journey in a learning journal, with weekly check-ins from a learning coach for support.
  3. Review: Finally, students evaluate their experiences and present their findings to an audience, sharing their insights and growth.

Commitment

We encourage students to invest a minimum of 25 hours in their projects, allowing ample time for exploration and personal development.
